Portrait of a Moment - Part Eight

© Larry Torno, 2009

They say a picture is worth a thousand words; so I'd like to hear what you have to say. Let's see how many you can come up with.

  1. Nice job, Larry, capturing conflict by showing us the friendly feminine face of a strong professional who maintains her stylistic edge through her presentation of self.

  2. An instant in one's life captured in light and shadow and sent around the world: Photography is old and cutting edge! The woman's direct gaze, open smile, and exposed skin are inviting, yet the crossed arms in the foreground ask us to keep a safe distance, while she inspects us. Nice composition.

  3. Yes, donnajgamache, good observation regarding the SUBJECT inspecting us!

  4. It was a two-way interchange, this being only the second time I met her. We're going to try again after we get to know each other more and see how that effects the next photo. Stay tuned.
