NEWS - New Web Site

I am pleased to announce the launching of my new web site, larrytornophoto.com.

Focal Point 004 continues the series last posted 2.20.11.
     Almost all of the images that were shot for this series were horizontal. This is one of the few created in a vertical format. At first I wasn't sure I would like the change in direction, but I think this is a successful interpretation of the concept.

Welcome to Issue : 2 of LTP | Vision Magazine. You may recall the first issue, posted September, 2010.

     Issue : 2 is a small collection of some of my favorite botanical images shot over the past few years. 

     LTP | Vision Magazine is a way for me to study a single subject or assemble a group of photos for review. These four images were shot in 2007, 2005, 2010 and 2010 respectively, but I like the continuity of image and concept.

Last week I posted White Tulips, 3; a photograph taken three days after I purchased the flowers. I attempted to create another image six days later but found only sparse, drooping stems and fallen petals.
     White Tulips, 9 is what remained after I shook the wilting flowers loose and gathered them together for a final shot.
